Subject: New Scott Drake "bossed" kick panels???

Anyone gotten a pair of these yet??

I would be interested in a black pair for my convertible..

Just wondering if anyone has had an opportunity to pick up a pair of these.  Scott Drake is advertising these in magazines already.. They have the original type "bossed" holes like the originals.

I bought a pair when they first became available, they are very nice. The only issue I had was they had to be trimmed a little (used an x-acto knife) on the bottoms to get them to fit correctly. The trimmed area is not visible when installed so no big deal. Otherwise I'm very happy with them.

We used a pair of 67-8 on a Shelby, holes were right there with the original ones.

Note: they "need" the insulation on the back side to be correct (VCM ST-795, $8.95 pr - you're welcome Brant).

I think Drake should provide and install the insulation on these-that would set them apart from the "other cheapo repros"

Tony, I too am surprised that Convertible kicks aren't available yet from S/D...kinda think they are testing the waters with the coupe/fastback versions......

I wish that they would make the DeLuxe (Pony) panels available complete, done and ready to install as well!

Sorry, guys.  I have not had a chance to check out this board in a while.

We have both the 65-66 Convertible and the 67-68 Convertible Scott Drake Kick Panels now in stock - black only.

Brant, Are these the new "bossed" convertible kick panels? ... I know Scott Drake still sells the old non-bossed ones as well.

Tony,

Yes.  Here is our link to the new ones.

Sorry, but I have not had a chance to shoot an image yet, but they are like the Coupe/FB ones.  By the way, we have the Coupe/FB and Convertibles in white for the 65-66's now also.
