Topic: How would you preserve this NOS Snorkel?

I have been looking for four years for this part.  Question, - to keep it nice

1.  Is the snorkel aluminum too?  I have seen these rust?  Should I put a metal protectant on it?

 I have have heard some people use sharkhide?

Never used Sharkhide so can't comment on it but I agree you need to coat it with something the concerns I can see is

1- a product that will allow you to install and keep the decals in place and in good condition

2- a product that will not remove or react with the original paint markings
