Turn signal harness
« on: June 20, 2012, 05:11:32 PM »
Looking for real world experience of anyone that has used an aftermarket versus OEM signal harness that goes in the steering column. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated before I tear into this one.
Thank you!

I have found an original harness with C5OZ 13341 B and one with C5OZ 13341 C
Which one is correct for a mid March '65 San Jose Fastback?  Is there a difference between the two? Also, does the emergency flashers plug into signal harness?
thank you!

Emergency flashers for 1965 were optional.  If ordered, a sub-harness that connects to the main harness (intercepting the signals to the turn signal switch) allowed the e-flasher can to be installed.

  • If it does not fit, you need a bigger hammer!

This is the 65 flasher (will not work on a 64 I am told)

Here is the wireing diagram showing it and how to plug it in;

Thank you Midlife!

Any difference in the turn signal part numbers?  I dunno...I rarely see turn signal switches in my work.  Usually, the originals fail long before they even have a chance to reach me.
