I'm finishing up the interior on the '69 Mach 1 I've been building. It was originally Black Jade with a white interior, but the interior had been painted/dyed black when I got the car. This is a Metuchen-built car, built on June 5th, 1969.
I'm putting the interior back to the original white, and I'm having trouble figuring out what colors should be in the back seat area. The main areas I'm having trouble with:
1. Fiberglass "hockey sticks" that mount along the sides of the package tray, between the package tray and the sail panels : are they white or black?
2. 3 pieces of metal trim that attach along the top of the rear seat (this is a fixed seat, non-fold down car). These pieces run along the top of the rear seat and down the sides of the upper seat cushion. Are these pieces white or black?
3. Fiberboard package tray: should it be white or does it stay black?
I know a lot of this is difficult to visualize from a written description...would anyone happen to have any good pictures of the backseat/package tray area on a white interior/non-fold down car?
