Well Liner

What are the "corners" of a well-liner suppose to look like?  I'm talking about the areas on both sides where the hydraulic cylinders are.  It looks like I need to do some kind of mitered corners and use contact cement.

Also, how far inward from the ends of the round steel rod should the tension springs be placed?

Bryan-

Here are some photos of an original dated "8-64."  Looks like they sewed it and strategically cut it to get the radius correct.  Hope this helps.  Gary
