Dynacorn convertible floors
« on: February 15, 2012, 09:29:02 AM »
I am restoring a 67 6cil. sprint convertible and had a shop do the inner rockers and a full floor. They did a great job but after getting it home I noticed that the lower convertible crossmember that has the 3 small rubber seat plugs and the large metal cover was not correct it had 4 small holes. After looking closer I noticed that there were not any holes for the Ebrake cables to pass through either. I called the shop and they said that was what came on the new Dynacorn floor. This car is not a concours car but it was a real pain fixing this after it was installed. Hope this saves some one else the trouble. Marty

One other thing to be aware of is small brackets such as the emergency brake cable bracket that has the hook that attaches the cable on the rt. side and if a transition panel is installed it will not have the rear brake line hose bracket. I also had to drill the holes for my exhaust hangers as well.
