This is for my coupe listed in my signature,  a 68 Sprint B. I did notice this thread is for the fastback but my search for the 377522 nut located this thread.

On page N8-8500-3 page 36 I believe of the body assembly manual for the coupe pictured on the left of the page,  it's item C listed under number 3 and is 377522-s100 and is called a crown nut.  The page has both the coupe and fastback pictured.  Maybe I'm reading it wrong but the nuts on my car are flimsy nuts that appear to be light metal and are not solid.

It appears AMK has these acorn nuts,  item B-15357. The are zinc and yellow. From what I read on this thread that is what they are supposed to be best I can tell.

The AMK description states "sim" = similar. The "visible" difference maybe the overall height (the originals look taller), or a different thread design (hidden when installed), or a different manufacturer (sometimes visible). If you are not concerned with the Thoroughbred Class, they appear to be OK.

Those don't should like they're close at all.  Given those differences though I'm not in the thoroughbred class does anyone have a stash... at least 9... of the originals that need finishing and they could part with? I can zinc and yellow shade them myself.

I bought these and needed to shorten the studs some. "SIM" is better than "none"!
