65-66 Mustang Door Hinges

Here is one of those "geeky" detail things, but I believe it fits perfectly on this forum :).  Take a look at the picture and my Blog post.

Thanks for sharing Brant, never paid attention to that detail, but now that I see it, can remember the 2 types.

Sometimes it is difficult to tell when changes like this took place, and this change is no exception.  We have found the "early" design on a January 1965 Dearborn production Mustang, and I suspect we may find them later than that.  We are still looking into this and would certainly welcome any feedback from our readers, and please keep in mind my note about the Ford Service Parts being the beveled design.

Love this 'geeky' stuff and really enjoy following your blog.  ;)

Here's what I found in case you want to add it to the NDHD (National Door Hinge Database)  ;D

65 Metuchen -23Q March 23 - Straight
65 Dearborn - 19R April 19 - Straight

No, it appears that there are beveled style on cars with the 3/8" bolts.
