Clock lens glued?
« on: December 29, 2011, 09:09:59 AM »
In the process of re-doing the interior on my 70 mach 1, I happened to have three passenger side deluxe panels all with clocks, but in the process of disasembly, one of the clocks has the lens glued onto the clock- just a homemade fix or something else? There are no tabs on the housing for mounting like the others.

Don't recall ever finding one glued - would guess its a PO (previous owner) modification

took a few apart when we were doing the 69 last year

I found mine glued as well. I carefully removed it but it still took some of the steel blue paint with it. I found a very close match at the local hobby store.
