Okay, maybe I am a little CD on this!?

I have a January-February of 1965 San Jose car with factory air and the short console.  I am restoring the ashtray lid (4-0 steel wool) and noticed that on the underside there is a screw with a flat slotted screw head.  Is that correct?  I did find FoMoCo on the underside of the handle!

Only screw on the lid is usually for the handle.  Got a pic?

Yes, the screw that holds the handle onto the lid.

The screws I've seen are a 4-24X5/16 pan head 17/32 dia, Phillips, thread forming. With as many suppliers as Ford had, it may be possible to have a slotted head screw used there. Was the knob p/n C4ZB-65048A48-B?

Yes the ashtray is C4ZB-65048A48-B.  I have replaced the flat screw as it appears to be a regular sheet metal screw. I have since found a lid with the correct phillips head and tapered threads.
