Did both use the pedestal type (mounted to the grill opening trim) or did the Marchal's mount on a bracket as on the Cal Specials and "float" in the grille opening?

+1 sometimes the Marchals had a large flat washer under the tube used "as needed" (translation= if fiberglass fit was so bad that it would crack if tightened then use washer) Someone on this forum reproduces the marchal spacers

Ok, let's ask it another way, 30 second hack sketch below based on what I have seen on Cal Specials, I'd like to have a lot of Shelby's to go look at but not in the cards...

"A" - Lucas, left sketch (mounted to grille trim, on pedestal)

"B" - Marchal, right sketch (mounted to bracket, not grille trim on pedestal)



Did '68 Shelby's use A or B or both depending on date for Marchal's ?
