Seat belt webbing and buckles are black, or a shade of green?

Believe either one would be correct.

To the best of my knowledge, Standard Belts will be Black and Deluxe Belts will be a shade of Green. Either Ivy gold or a Dark Green.

Black - standard
Color match  - deluxe

Might have been what they planned but it appears that a fair number didn't follow this pattern looking at all plants in the pictures of original ones I have. There seems to have been some workers at multiple plants that installed the color matching ones on standard interior cars (didn't find any black in deluxe cars)

Deluxe Seat Belts with Reminder Light was a Separate Option on any car. When Combined with Standard Interior or Deluxe Interior it would include Color Matched Belts.

I might add that the deluxe belts had a chrome bezel on the buckle. I have seen some color match belts with colored bezels in standard interiors. Marty

I agree with that. I currently have a Dark Blue 1968 belt with Dark Blue Bezel instead of chrome. It is from a 2B Light Blue-Dark Blue Interior without Deluxe Seat Belts. Majority of Interior was Light Blue and it had Dark Blue Accents. That might be a key there?
