I almost missed this post.  Anyway, good timing!  Click on the catalog image for today's Blog post.

It is at the printer.  Catalogs will be bound on 10/17.  We will have office copies in house for orders going out on 10/19 or 10/20.  The mailing list copies are supposed to be in customers hands by the first few weeks in November, depending upon the postal service.  Anyone who has requested a catalog in the last year or purchased something in the past 3 1/2 years is on this mailing list.

Sweet Brant! And thanks for the reply. Ya'll have been one of my favorite vendors since 1986 (the year I made my first purchase from you). As a matter of fact I'll be calling at the end of the end of this week with another order.  ;D I know this is an issue you have been trying to address for some time now (getting the new catalog out). I've been going into withdrawls! ;D

During my daily "routine" on the internet I usually read this forum right before going to the VMC blog, though I check it out religiously Mon, Wed and Fri!  ;)

Thanks again!!

Thanks a lot for the comments.  We really do appreciate it.  We are happy to have the Catalog at the printers and are already adding new stuff that missed the cut.  The new items are always posted on the Blog and are updated on our web site.

Thanks again.

I've been using VA Classic since 1998.  In fact, just a few weeks ago, I stopped in as I was driving home from Johnstown, PA along I-81.  I dealt with a guy at the front desk and a gal dealing with my credit card.  I didn't catch the deskman's name nor did I think of asking for Brant.  Besides, who in their right mind would introduce themselves as Midlife????

Looking fwd to the print catalog. I don't know if I am typical of most, but I really enjoy and use my print catalog as much as, if not more than the Web.

Something about being able to flip through the pages that spurs more thought, and purchases as I leaf through.

I hope suppliers dont give up on their print catalogs- it is a source of extra revenue each time I leaf through it! You can't do that as easily on a website.

I think I still have some of the first few years of catalogs stashed in boxes. I too LOVE leafing through the catalog. VCM's is also one of the nicest catalogs out there and worth the wait, IMHO.

I have to say though, what made me a customer was the service. In 1986 my wife wanted to buy me a bunch of parts for Christmas. Upon opening them, everything was correct. She then told me about her conversation when she phoned in the order. My wife is NOT a car person. As such she described parts in terms such as "you know, the thingy ma jig that you open the door with inside". Referring to an inside door handle. Even after receiving descriptions like this the sales person she dealt with was patient and got EVERYTHING 100% correct. That spoke volumes to me about service. Even through all these years that level of service has never been anything less. KUDOS Brant to you, your family and staff!

BTW, those door handles? They were also NOS Ford!

You know, that is a big concern in today's times.  We are seeing more and more magazines going away.  When I say "going away" I mean dropping their printed magazine and going totally online.  While the online forums like this are fantastic for sharing information, I too believe that the print magazines and catalogs are important.  For me, if a magazine goes totally online, I kind of forget about it.  There is just too much information out there to keep up with everything, so yes, I think a lot of people think just like you.

Things are really changing though.  As a matter of fact, our usual, long-time catalog printer recently closed their doors. We had to scramble to find another printer.

Randy, I am quite sure that the "counterman" was Robert, GREAT guy, and always eager to help with getting just the right parts-I met he AND Brant @ Waldorf......GREAT, GREAT folks they are!!!

And.....I am pretty sure the Gal you delt with was Michelle.......I have spoken to her a few times as well and SHE offers GREAT customer service as well. Michelle has answered many a question for me about parts, even checked a '65-'66 antenna for me herself.

In short its folks like Brant, Robert, Michelle and the rest of the staff at VA Mustang that really make working with and on Mustangs a true pleasure.   (Thanks Again Guys!!))

Michelle helped me put an order together to be shipped to Florida, then onto the UK. Unfortunately due to delays waiting for the Autolite batteries coming in Michelle had to do a lot of work, but she was brilliant in keeping me up to date and organising everything.
Although a while ago now, due to shipping delays from Florida to the UK, this Saturday I get to collect my haul - yippee.
Thanks Michelle, you are a top babe.

Brant:
Please don't take this wrong, but are you short, squat, with reddish hair and possibly a beard?  That's the gent who helped me.  I questioned about a NOS air cleaner in the front room that was used; but what I ordered was two colorized wiring CD's.
