Beaverun Motorsports Complex
Wampum, PA
SAAC-34 will be held at Beaverun Motorsports Complex in Wampum, PA, northwest of Pittsburgh and about 12 miles east of the Ohio state line. It’s a fairly new track, 1.6 miles in length with 12 turns and some moderate elevation changes. The convention headquarters hotel will be in Cranberry Township,
PA—about 1/2 hr. from the track. Surrounding hotels are all about 5 minutes away from the HQ Hotel.

Just a side note, the concours cars will be at the convention hotel and not the track like previous years (at least that the plan now)

Thanks Jeff, It just may get a little boring at the track with out the show cars. Hopfully next year it can get back to having every thing in one spot again.

Yes IMHO its a shame that the owners come so far to show the cars and the display has been reduced to 4 hrs at the hotel. Not sure if I'm going out to the track after the show as they have planned. May just hang around the host hotel.

I think the "car show" judging is referring to the popular vote show and shine. I certainly hope the concours cars are alotted more than 3 hours. As of now there are 7 68s so it looks like another all day event for us. Should have some real nice cars this year though.

Thanks Bob - only knew what was in print

Jake I don't know - teams will be assembled and organized at the Judges meeting by the Head Judges. Unlike other shows SAAC often has a fair number of judges that show up year after year since there is only one big show.

68s and Boss 9 categories are full but if you didn't get your car in in time bring it anyway.
