Noticed in your earlier pics that the sheet metal reinforcing plates for the dual exhaust hangers have a sawtooth edge. I've never seen on other 5 ad 6 cars (have seen maybe a dozen).  Is it particular to a manufacturing plant?

These?...not sure, they don't have sawtooth edges.  Maybe you saw a picture of something else or another car?

Yes, those. I saved the pic of them on your first post.  Then enlarged it and saw the sawtooth.  It must be the pixel count showing a distortion on the enlargement.

Guessing this is just the first coat of primer on bare metal?  Looks like a great shell to work with.  Lots of little putty work for Jeremy!   ;D

Thanks for sharing.

That's correct, Charles.  And, yes, lots more work to do for Jeremy!

Must be nice to be able to work with such a solid accident free car that is almost 50 years old. I had a 66 Shelby I bought 15 years ago and it was wrecked hard in the front and not repaired correctly along with the typical Midwest rust out to the sheet metal.  this must have been a very well taken care of car in a arid climate. A  car this solid gives you a big advantage of not having to deal with junk TIAWAN sheet metal. This will be a very nice car.

The drips are on the floor pan now and the underside is pretty much completed.  Time to come down from the rotisserie for a bit.  Click here for more pictures or click on the picture itself.

Brant, how did you duplicate the drips in the primer on the undercarriage?  It looks spot-on!

Thanks, I looked at the site several times but I must've missed the caption.
