When we did the Jade Black 69 Shelby mixed three times before we got anything near original. So IMHO be careful and compare what you get while not assuming that just because that is what the paint code shows - its correct ;)

Thanks for the codes and advice,Things are going to be even more tricky here as our paint systems here in Australia differ from the U.S.A. A glimmer of hope though as a paint supplier here tells me over the phone that they have the formula,i will have to head down there and get a sample mixed, i'm sceptical but its a start.Thankyou.

I am probably asking a bit much but I dont suppose you have the formula you used for the shelby?

At a show this moment but can hunt down the can Monday or Tues when I return to that shop if it would help

I also had to go through 3+ samples of Black Jade before getting one that was reasonably close to the original shade.  There's a LOT of variation on this color, even among show cars. 
Too much junk, too little time.
