Marv and Hank,

Thanks for the update. I am very happy to hear that the site is still alive although not well. This is great news!! I know that everyone appreciates all of the effort on Hanks part to resolve the issues on the forum pages.

Looking forward to the Hipo site being back up.

Must say thanks to the folks on this site as well, many helpful comments on K codes and otherwise.

Thanks for the update. Look forward to the fix as the UK branch is feeling a bit isolated ( there are not many of us anyhow ) and we need all the help we can get.
Cheers

Here is the latest quote from the Hipo site which will give us insight into what is going on there:

The forum was taken off line due to a server database issue not being able to handle the size of the database for this type.  It was an early forum that used MS Access which is not really conducive to web use.  I'm in the process of setting up a new forum using a format better supported for web use.  As soon as I can find the time to get the user account info transferred to the new forum, they will be brought back on line.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

I can help with anything SQL or MS Access related. Just let me know if there's anything that I can do.

Not there yet but getting restless....I use to check in everyday.... What I really miss is archives....
Hopefully something will be done soon ..

What will become of all that info if the site remains down..?

I find the lack of feedback frustrating. People offer help and get no response ???.
Surely even a no thanks would be polite.
I made a sizeable donation in the past, never even got an acknowledgement.
Does not bode well.

Guys, I think it is really time to move on, as long as noones health is an issue I believe that whatever problem should have certainly been fixed by now if it was going to be at all.
I for one was a regular contributor of $$ to help the site keep going as I am here on Concours, I'm afraid that I feel that I have been taken advantage of.
A few of us have offered $$ and specialized computer/server/internet help to no avail that I know of.
What a great great loss-all those archives that are Hipo-specific.
