67 frame dimensions re: factory/ liskey /other
« on: April 19, 2025, 11:45:42 AM »
Hello All,
I am a new user, so dont bite my head off..came to this site as I saw a post on the interweb showing a concours drawing for a 65-66 frame dimentions off of datum line
First Question...library section?? Is that just all the topics I see in home, dont see a specific library section..ill get on with it..Built a jig..setting first point to 6.5, front rear spring eye..liskey shows 14" under frame rail front..there is just no way....as car looks level on supports, and thats another 3" to get to that #....I have factory dimentions  for 67, that hits front bumper mounts, and idler arm, etc..
Second Question..Just wondering if there is a 1967  (concours drawing for frame heights off datum)..mine is a CV..on this site?

Thanks for your patience

Braxas

First, welcome.
The library is listed on the opening page of the forum. However, it might be affected by the device you're using (like a cell phone - I use a ASUS laptop).
The dimensions you need are specified in the "67 Ford Shop Manual" (I recommend the paper version as it's difficult to make notes on a CD).
Try National Parts Depot - https://www.npdlink.com/

First welcome to the site. Hope you will find the help and support you need for your related projects.  Did move your thread to a "better location" one that focuses just on 67's so others may find it easier when they have a related question.

As was posted above, on the main page go down to the Library and Links section then go down to the 67 Mustang group and open that page. Way down below the article list you will find Installation Instructions, then below that 67-71 Frame Alignment Diagrams Scans. When you open that page the 67 information is on that first page. From there you can compare your measurements to that. Can't recall if those were from Ford originally or from frame shops of the time period
