Hello, I am reinstalling an OEM headrest on a 68 S and noticed that of the 4 pins that attach to the seat frame, only 2 have spring-loaded ball bearings to lock the headrest in different positions. Is this normal, or should all 4 pins have this mechanism?
All 4 posts are knurled, but I suspect that there is only one locking pin on each side. Since I don't have many original headrests to reference, I am not sure what the original design was. Can anyone confirm this information for me? Thanks.
