There are many different styles of Cobra intakes that were made for Ford and Shelby depending on the year. Just in case you are not aware the blue thunder intake is copied after a late 1967 style Ford made Cobra intake. Maybe that fact does not matter to your situation but in case it does I thought you would want to know. With that said the Blue thunder flows better however it is easily distinguished as not original because for whatever reason Blue Thunder didn't make it exact to that later 67 style.

Thanks Bob appreciate your comment.  I did not know of the multiple suppliers back in the day.  Looking at the new reproduction my online search keeps going back to Blue Thunder as the USA manufacture.  Branda"s is out of stock and the foreign made is horrible.  I have a source but checking availability soon.

If historical accuracy is a concern then the Scott Drake S2MS intake turned out surprising well. It is comparable to the ones used on mid 66 to early 67 GT350's. It is extremely accurate . It is a off shore made intake and I have not heard of any first hand quality problems yet so I hope there aren't any big issues. At 406.95-460.95 from Jegs ,Summit Holley etc. it is economical to boot.
