Valve cover modification
« on: February 23, 2025, 06:49:31 PM »
When I was cleaning up the valve covers for my 67 GT500, I noticed that part of the fin on the left valve cover had been removed to make a bit more room for the master cylinder. Is this standard, or a custom modification?

It is a standard modification on the 67 GT500 valve cover.

Apparently machining off part of the fin did not give quite enough room - looks like someone took a file to it for a little bit more clearance. Oh well, can't be easily seen.
