It appears to be stamped with the orange 42 amp stamp.

I'm sorry to say this, but that is not a 65 or 66 alternator. Use the search feature of this forum for proper identification.

The alternator other then some non original plating on hardware appears to have the typical overall appearance of the 65-67 alternator . The one thing that is a little unusual is the back side of the round adjusting arm ear. Although not common it too is sometimes seen on early alternators. That ear design is probably a vendor thing. The round back case with the non Autolite marked bearing cover is also typical of a early alternator.  Dead Nuts On has a nice picture reference of alternator appearance. https://www.deadnutson.com/1965-ford-autolite-alternators/
