Topic: original BXT-59 Battery For Sale

i was presented with a motorcraft battery that has a black case. labels are in excellent shape. the battery is a BXT-59 with 540 CCA. there are numbers stamped into the top of the case which i cannot identify. part of those are, i believe, the date codes. can anyone tell me exactly what they mean and also what the application of this battery was. it was purported to be from a 1994 mustang GT but one of the codes leads me to believe it was mfd. in 1999. if this is indeed the case the battery will be for sale.

The battery is still available, but the service replacement is not the same as the factory version.

Factory version has the small electrolyte float on it, while the service replacements that I've seen do not have that.
Same battery was used in my 2003 Cobra.  Thought about stashing the original in a corner of the garage, but that seemed a touch "hoarder", so I turned it in.  I'll let the next owner worry about putting it back to "concours factory thoroughbred original correctliness" ;-)
