1969 Deluxe Belts/Warning Lights Option
« on: Today at 08:17:41 PM »
I'm getting a replacement lower dash ready for my '69 Q-Code Convertible, and need to know if I need to make a hole for the seat belt warning light. My original lower dash has 2-holes in between the ignition switch and wiper switch (see pic) ? presumably for the seat belt warning light (upper) and the parking brake warning light (lower), but I'm not sure if this is original.

The seat belt warning light came with the car when I purchased it (see pic). The parking brake light was not included, but the wires for the parking brake light are present (wires have been cut ... see pic). The parking brake switch is included on the parking brake mechanism.

My Marti Report (see pic) includes the Visibility Group, which I understand includes the parking brake warning light, but a Deluxe Belts/Warning Lights option is not included on the Marti Report as I've seen on other Marti Reports. The seat belt warning lights are not included on the invoice either.

Could my Marti Report have mistakenly excluded the Deluxe Belts/Warning Lights option? Were the Deluxe Belts/Warning Lights option included in the Interior Decor Group - Deluxe?

Thanks in advance.
