Having looked at previous posts, pictures and wiring diagrams on this subject, I am still confused on wiring connections to junction block and solenoid.
1. Mustang wiring diagrams show a fusible link from positive side of solenoid to the junction block. The power feed for top motor connects to this. Makes sense.
2. The Shelby assembly manual shows the console ammeter wiring (I'm using the AMP harness) red lead to the positive side of solenoid, connected to ammeter. The black lead then goes from ammeter to the junction block.
3. My question then becomes A: What happens to fusible link as it is now bypassed by ammeter, and how is circuit protected? and B. How does ammeter measure current as it it would only see draw from top motor? Do I switch the yellow regulator wires from the positive side of solenoid to the junction block?
Thanks for any help.
