1970 cougar bumper arm
« on: November 04, 2024, 11:05:15 AM »
Working on a 70 cougar and wondering why the bumper arm has a plate (shim) welded to the inside of arm on the 2 bolt holes that bolt to the body so is that a running change or why are the shims there as not on 70 mustang bumper arms and not on 69 cougar arms?

Can you share a picture?  I'll crawl under mine and see if I have anything that matches.
