67 Styled steel wheel jacking decal
« on: June 02, 2011, 08:45:30 AM »
I was thinking the was a different jacking instructions decal in 67 for styled steel wheels but can't find one. It is interesting that there is one for 68 but shows a 67 wheel in the diagram.

Looked through my pictures and though I don't have allot of pictures that focus on that detail I found none with a styled steel wheel but since I don't have a Marti on each car I don't know if any of these specific cars came with that option

Tried ;)

Here is 7F02C200xxx.  One owner unrestored car.  Pictures from the Indy show in 2014.

The sticker looks identical to the one that I see for cars without styled steel wheels.

That picture of the jack instructions is the one I have always found on 67 Shelby's (not on trunklid in 67 Shelby case)regardless of if they had steel wheels and hubcaps or deluxe wheels .

I found a few in pictures shared here & there at the site, one is of a March built estimated date still having the -B Decal.

I hope someone reproduced this early one but it isn't looking too good yet.

I know I have bought the repro "B" jacking instruction sticker in the past from NPD.

Should it be a typical sticker or more of a paper based product with adhesive?  I think I have a nice -B version, it’s on my list to clean up the digital copy

Certainly a paper product from the feel. The old one I was able to peel off and keep in my files seems more substantial then say a sticker like the battery OK  sticker.

Yes, I see it there now.
Bob, in your opinion, is it satisfactory for Concours ?

When compared side by side there are nuance differences . It is very faithful otherwise. I would not have a problem with it in a class where good reproductions are allowed. With that said the answer to your question is yes .

No but a guy who lives near NPD Michigan has $8, he can get one pretty easily
