Body gaskets for reassembly
« on: July 14, 2024, 08:17:56 PM »
Our 67 NJ coupe is getting closer to be painted! Figure I should start ensuring I have everything on hand for the body man to reassemble the car. Questioning if some parts get a gasket or something when getting bolted back on the car. Here goes:

- Is there a seal/gasket where the front and/or rear valance bolts to the car? I don?t think there is, but wanted to verify.
- Rear/Front bumper guards, I have the rubber pads, but are there any other seal/gaskets required to install them?
- Are there seals/gaskets for the hood mounted turn signals, where the turn signal scoops bolt to the hood?
- Any seal/gaskets to mount the upper stone deflector? I don?t think there is, but wanted to verify.
- License plate light, any seal/gasket where it bolts to the car, or only the gasket for the lens?

Thank you for your assistance!

The assembly manuals will provide all the information you are looking for. I cannot imagine reassembling a car without them.
