The D2AZ-6522008-A door striker is used on the 79-86 Mustangs.  Typically the plastic bushing breaks off and the door rattles.  NOS ones are hard to find now.  There are a couple of replacements such as Dorman and ACP.  I believe Dorman is silver color and ACP is black.  There is also a U shaped one  for 87-93. The replacement bushings are easy to find but removing the washer  to get to it seems to be a problem. Driving the washer off clips the threads on the bolt.  The washer does not seem to be threaded and the hole is smaller than the bolt threads.  The only options seem to be  cut the bolt or cut the washer thus making 1 out of 2 used strikers.  Any other ideas?
