WTB: '68 big block fixed a/c idler pulley
« on: January 06, 2024, 02:33:33 AM »

Looking for a good used fixed a/c idler pulley assembly for a '68 390/428.  This is the one that mounts below the compressor.

Original Ford p/n C8AZ-8678-B

Thanks

*Bought one, thanks

I have one that is cast and a two hole. I think what you are looking for is pressed steel and three holes?

Should be a 3 hole steel.  I think the 2 hole cast would be for a small block, at least that's what is on a '68 GT350 that I'm working on also.

I'm sure I have one of these idlers. I don't know if there are differences between 68, 69 and 70.

2 holes cast for a 67 early 68  Big block also and they are easily confused but they are a different shape and will not interchange.

1968-69 is small, flat bearing. 1970 has a slightly larger, diameter flat bearing. 1970 normally, also has a D0AA.. casting number on it.
