68 gt 500 kr frt console mounting , shock paint code
« on: December 25, 2023, 10:32:40 PM »
Looking for the correct mounting for the frt area of the console. Is a kr,  auto and built June 26th.1968. Someone had the console out . Not sure how it mounts or what is missing.
Also, looking for correct color blue for shocks.  Seen several different shades of blue used.
Thank you in advance....

An automatic Shelby console is held in place by the shifter selection bezel and two screws in the bottom of the compartment liner.

The blue used on shocks was similar to the dark blue engine color.

   Thank you Pete,,
We appericate your time and appreciate the information,,, There are carriage bolts that are in the front of the console and I was suspect that there was a bracket or something missing,,,, never thought that about the shifter bezel, Most cars we do a manual and this is the first 68 kr Auto car we have done,, Thank you again,Happy year to you ,,, btw,, I reference your web site often,, really appreciate your knowledge,,, Bob

Carriage bolts going through front plywood hold the front stiffener plate. Often missing
