The detail I was looking for and is in the example you posted was the use of a threaded (each) stud for the upper mounting bolt and the use of the self locking nut as the example has. Looks good from that stand point

You will also notice that that example what ever year, size or make it is does use an index bracket. Still plan on posting as mentioned earlier - just been a busy day 

Yes planning to use the threaded stud. All the hardware came on my car and I think it is correct. Basically the same setup as in the photo example I posted, with all the right hardware & finishes, I hope. Here is my current hardware
