68 SJ 390 Waterpump Bypass Hose

Trying to determine what I should be using for the Waterpump Bypass Hose. See this from Dead Nuts On

The picture is of the metal tube that is pressed into the pump and into the intake. Ford used a special reinforced rubber hose to go between the metal nipple in the intake and the one coming out of the water pump. most people use a piece of heater hose but it is thicker wall and has a tendency to balloon out . I would check with jacks as I think he was selling a short reinforced hose alternative.

I have tried searching to find a photo of an original, but no luck so far

It is a slightly thinner wall (although reinforced)then regular heater hose . Some had ribs and some didn't. It is painted with the engine so markings are irrelevant .  You could also try Mansfield Mustang .
