metal thickness of staples
« on: October 17, 2023, 10:43:48 AM »
Anyone ever looked into what type of stapler would be necessary to install splash shield rubber and the rear interior quarter fuzzy strips?  (65-66 fan shroud rubber pad too!)
Found a couple places that sell them.  Guess I need to figure out the metal thickness first.

Looked into it years back and a stapler strong enough to pierce the metal was like $10-20k.

The staples supplied on the replacement rubber kits are way too big. I wound up using home made staples from safety wire and matching the existing holes on the shields. It's time consuming so have beer available.
