1968 Alternator Cooling Fan Color

Should the blade colors be black or zinc dichromate (goldish...) color?

1968, Metuchen w 200-1V I-6 Engine, 3-speed manual, 2-door hardtop

1968 would be Zinc Dichromate.

Here's a picture of the correct alternator I got from Bob. Of course mine is for a 289.

Remember that the adjustment arm for the alternator was attached to the engine when it was painted so unlike V8's its not black but engine blue  ;)
