Any idea on the correct color for AA springs on a Dearborn car?

 I've got to clean up some more rust but didn't see anything obvious yet. I also noticed the spring part number is pretty much hidden by the bottom plate and the numbers run the same direction as the spring. I've seen just the opposite on a 68 NJ car.
