My 68 FB (Dearborn) 8F02J166xxx has had the fender aprons, and other metal, replaced by a PO. They're missing the holes for the wire loom hangars. The Electrical Assembly Manual only shows a general location. Looking at pics on this forum, I don't see any that get me as close as I'd like. What I'm hoping, is that one of you kind folks has a close perpendicular picture of the holes so that I can get very close to where they were drilled at the factory. I imagine these were drilled with position guidance and the guy on the assembly floor didn't just drill them anywhere he wanted.
1. There are two on the front drivers side apron.
2. There are two on the front passenger side apron near the solenoid.
3. I think there's one under the battery tray but not 100% certain.
4. There are four for the horn wiring.
Also, while I'm at it, the loom tie kit I purchased included a package of three "firewall" ties. I have no idea where they go.
Thanks,
-Richard
