Topic: 65 SJ Running Changes- Eaton to Ford PS pump

Hello,
I have already tried the search but I did not find to much on it.

When approximately was the changeover from an Easton pump to ford pumps  for San Jose built cars.

Looking at the data I've collected and of course we can't be too exact since we don't have real production dates for any of the car, it appears that the change possibly took place around the first part of April 1965 at the San Jose plant.

Jeff, thank you very much. As my car is a late march but pretty original I was always unsure about the Eaton being correct.

Since the VIN and or the scheduled date will not pin point when the cars were really built in comparison to your car specifically I won't go through the effort to posting them at this point
but can report that I have three cars with scheduled build dates from March 30th to April 3rd with the Eaton pump so that should be a pretty good IMHO guide for you to use

Will add this thread and the information to the 65 San Jose Running Changes Thread and list as well as changing the Title to fit that purpose
