Topic: reunite build sheet with the car

I found an original build sheet while cleaning the shop. I have no idea how I came to posses this sheet, as the 2 Shelby Mustangs I've owned were 1969 GT 350s. It shows "SHELBY UNIT" in the remarks section. The top left corner is partially missing but, the last 7 characters of the VIN are legible, R206086. I would like to give the current owner the build sheet. Any help locating the current owner will be appreciated. I'm rarely on this site anymore so best to email me, c9zx@cox.net. Chuck

A 1969 Shelby would have a "48" as the first two numbers of the VIN

Going by the consecutive number I believe the vin is a 1968

[K-HESS]

1968 Shelby #2832 has a vin number of 8T03R206086. Looks to be a white convertible with saddle interior black top and a 4 speed.

My thanks to all who replied. Wow, a 1968 R code, vert, and 4 speed. Any idea how I can locate the current owner. I really would like them to have the build sheet.
