"Work" Yes they can be installed and used to tie down your car when you trailer your car. So would single exhaust style or axle wraps. Since out focus here is how the cars were originally built. In that light and focus it would not "work" IMHO since its not shaped like nor made by the same supplier as others built as San Jose that year
