Looking to buy a good used OEM Ford bellhousing to engine spacer plate for the 164 tooth bellhousing.
I will include a picture of the style i'm looking for which has a flat edge at the bottom,
no windows other than the starter hole, no stamped ribs or bulges (completely flat) and no modifications or damage (minor surface rust okay).
This type would have been in a 68-70 302 or 351 mustang with 3 or 4 speed manual trans.
Will pay a fair price plus shipping through PayPal.
I already tried a repro plate but the holes were stamped inaccurately, especially the starter hole which was so far off that, when spinning over the engine with the starter, the teeth were pressed up tightly against the flywheel (interference) and was unusable. Checking the plate against a Ford plate confirmed the inaccuracies.
(yes, I was using the correct starter)
