This thread is focused on when the change over took place between the earlier steel style of the drivers side fresh air vent to the later plastic style at San Jose in 1967. If you have an original car and vent please submit the car and finding (as to which style) along with the projected or real build date and identify which date your providing.

Will use this first post to collect and share what is uncovered as well as a picture of the two versions to help you identify what you find.

From the other thread I collected
- Sept 22 early metal style
- Oct 14  early metal style
-Nov 2 later plastic style
-Dec 20 later plastic style.

Adding in the examples I found it appears that the change took place between October 14th and 29th 1966

Could still use findings to support or add to this conclusion
