I tried the tapes and they didn't work.  I hope it is just the tapes and not the radio. I changed the belt to see if that would help, no luck.  Does anyone know of a reputable shop to take/send the radio to?

Heard of this guys, think an article was done on them in mustang monthly. They do 8 track.
