When I restored my SCJ way back in the early 90?s I added a couple of factory convenience options, tilt-tilt away steering and the fold down back seat and also deluxe seat belts. I?ve still got the original column and most of the original back seat. I?ve never regretted adding these features and I think it adds to the value of the car.

Of course it is your car and you can do as you want. As far as add value that would be debatable. As far as desirability your additional options may certainly attract more buyers IMO as long as the work is done well .The same goes on the show field as long as Marty reports are not mandatory which would show factory options . For the foreseeable future the Marty reports will not be mandatory . Some things like adding a shaker scoop for example on a Q code car would be seen as a deduction in concours because no Marty report is needed to determine if an available option. If concours showing is not in the future then do what you think is best for your situation. Just my opinion others may have a different one.
