I am looking for a used good condition with no rust pitting or few 24F battery tray, dated (months) first numbers start 10 or 11 or 12

Not that date coding. I might also have a used 22F tray I might be talked out of, one with an October date coding on the brace.
With a spot-welder, a person could transfer the dated brace onto a NOS tray but of course the tray wouldn't be dated, just the (visible) brace. That's the best I could offer.
Correction: August 20 date code, removed from a Nov 2, San Jose built car

For your information the earlier 67 Mustang battery trays have a multiple pattern of holes stamped into the brace. The hole pattern corresponded to the mounting bracket of a tilt vacuum can . Different hole patterns were designed to mount the vacuum can in a different orientation depending on the engine the Mustang was equipped with . The holes in the brace were on the early trays regardless of if the car had the tilt option or not. The hole patterns in the battery tray brace were eliminated in later 67 production when Ford changed locations for the vacuum canister .

Here are some pictures of a tray with the holes which was taken off of a 67 Shelby and also a picture of a regular Mustang with a tilt canister bolted using the holes. I am sure that there was overlap of usage as inventory was used up.

We had a lengthy discussion about this running change of battery tray-mounted canisters and no distinction was made using stamp date codes within that thread.

Do any of your Shelby battery trays have date codes Bob?

This is the Original to my 67 Shelby GT500 with the correct date codes. Car serialized 12/6/66 Releasd 12/28/66. This tray has a date code on the tray 11 10 8 and on the bracket 12 5 2D.

I need one exactly like this one with no holes in very nice condition.
I am looking for one with Similar date codes month 9 or 10 or 11 or 12.

"No holes for canister mounting" is how I interpret your request. This follows the research that I gave this topic several years ago. I tried to enhance your image a bit to better see in the shadows but I found "no holes" on your original December battery tray brace.

I certainly haven't seen them all but just reporting on what I have seen that in particular seems to be most typical based on my 67 Shelby observations. Date codes on trays are helpful given it is very common for battery trays to have been changed because of corrosion and restoration and service trays don't have the holes.

It is very unlikely that you will find a assembly line with the correct date codes and no corrosion. All of the originals that I have see have a unacceptable amount of corrosion. It would be best to do as suggested above and move the build dated into a NOS part.

Kyle, another suggestion might be to have the holes welded and ground smooth on the tray you have?
