Topic: 1967 A-Code GTA Valve Covers

[67 Fastback GTA]

Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of restoring my 67 GTA A-Code fastback and trying to get to original as I can. My question for the group is, what finish should my valve covers and air cleaner be? Chrome, painted or aluminium valve covers and chrome or painted air cleaner cover? Your expertise is greatly appreciated.

A A code 67 GTA would have had painted rocker covers and air cleaner.  You might want to check out some of the cars in the unrestored section for some help on the details.

I'll add that excepting the carburetor (and attaching parts), a C-code uses pretty much everything visible that an A-code would have (with the same options).

Ask any questions you may have. Less mistakes when you do.
You might look into my Member Build Thread too. Mine is a November San Jose car sold into Southern California when built...meaning a Thermactor car.

It seems that all the info is accurate, except nobody mentioned that the engine color is Ford Corporate Dark Blue. Careful, some brackets are black.

That is right Jim. If you  Duplacolor the one you want is called Old Ford Blue.
