Sway bar end links
« on: October 20, 2022, 01:07:22 PM »
Trying to install new sway bar end links on a 67 restoration. Any tricks to compress the rubber bushings on the end link so I can install the sway bar? Install the end links first then the 2 brackets to the frame rails? Thanks for any advice or tips!

The sway bar is totally in the way when it comes time to install the engine so I usually leave it until last thing. It's best to loosely install the frame brackets first, then assemble the end links.

Thank you for the reply. I have removed the sway bar, end links and frame brackets until the engine is back in the car. I appreciate your advice!
