I was looking to upgrade the the Carter fuel pump I got from Jegs a year ago to a Carter 4441S fuel pump with a 14B9A date on it. Ford engineering part number is C7AZ-9350. My 69 SCJ was actually built 3-20-1969. Obviously, this is a rare part and it is rebuilt with AMK seal kit that makes it compatible to run with ethanol even though I never use ethanol to my knowledge. Is this going to be the correct date and pump for my car. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you Bob and Jeff for your usual fast and helpful reply. The block assembly date vs.the block casting date. Is there a difference ? I know of the 9B1 which is stamped into the oil filter adapter assembly on the block next to the oil filter. Is that the same as the block assembly date.? If so it should be a good pairing for the block and the fuel pump correct ?
Jeff, thank you and you are correct, the 9B1 is the casting date for the block. However, I am confused because it sounds like the pump is not prior to the assembly date but post assembly date if the pump was made Feb 14th and the block must have been assembled Feb 1-3 of 69. Am I missing something here. Is there an actual assembly date available on the engines. The machine work is a big question in the time line then as well.

............ Jeff, was your SCJ made in SJ and Gulf stream aqua by chance ? Mine had a twin, 1 of 2 made that day in that plant. Thank you.
