Topic: 1967 S Code Questions

I'm looking at a 67 S code Coupe that has a particular instrument cluster. (see Image) The image shows the odometer up to 160MPH.  Is this correct?  The Marti Report indicates the car has GT equipment Group with Tacho and Trip Meter.  All of the images I can find on Google only show 120MPH odometer.

The steering wheel is aftermarket too . Given the picture I suspect that the rest of the car has had a lot of non original personalization.

Almost nothing attached to your gauge bezel is factory

Just one question that I have asked myself many times.  Given that the Marti Reports are quite detailed from 1967 onwards, why isn't the original engine number mentioned on the report.  Is there any other way to determine what engine number should be in the 67 onwards mustangs.

Guess your referring to the "numbers game" breakdown in the bottom right corner on some reports. Since that number ( number of Mustangs produced with that particular engine) would be so large it would not have value and take up valuable space on that single sheet design. Likely needs to keep it to 6 or so line in total for the space to look and work right for his plan

If you want to know, for your example S codes, you can get his Mustangs By The Numbers book which I believe it shows it there and also broken down by body style and transmission

Checked and Fords records show that 29,456 S codes were built  A fair amount but it was the first year for the big block
