69 Dearborn undercarriage
« on: August 12, 2022, 11:16:32 AM »
Sorry in advance if this question is senseless, in regards to restoration guide page 15. Is the sound deadener still applied to the undercarriage for a 1969 Shelby just not the front end of the vehicle?

Yes the a 69 Shelby sportroof would still have received the extra sound deademer on the undersides of the main floor just like Mach Is front he same factory. In the front wheel well the typical Mustang sound deadener was not applied (seam sealers still were) since there was no fenders installed at Dearborn so there was no way to contain the spray and product from going everywhere during the messy spray process
